Crawl, Dig, and Climb in The Gladiator Mud Run

Oct. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- The Gladiator, LLC today announced the November 1st, 2012 launch of their new website at www.begladiators.com where mud runs are described as “epic”, “challenging”, and “intense”.

The Gladiator events are designed around an intense medium-distance, 5-7 mile course. Each course incorporates 30+ extreme obstacles with the most challenging being the finale in The Coliseum. The Gladiator courses are designed to test runners’ agility, endurance, mental resolve, and solidarity. In keeping with one of its core principles, The Gladiator will also partner with local children’s charities, giving every participant the ability to directly take part in selecting and supporting a local charity.

The new mud run series will soon be coming to the Springfield, MO, Wichita, KS, and Nashville, TN areas and is expected to draw thousands to participate in its creative combination of obstacles and venues, as well as it’s focus on runners as well as spectators.

We have been working nonstop to develop obstacles and sign with venues which will give our participants, whether runner or spectator, an excellent value and an awesome time. All obstacles unveiled in The Gladiator mud runs have been designed to provide maximum challenge, safety, and intensity. Venues have been chosen to provide for challenging terrain, good flow, and maximum spectator viewing. Spectators of all ages and fitness levels will have an unprecedented ability to get in on the fun through various family-friendly activities on the event field as well as a front row seat to the dramatic finale in The Coliseum.

Throughout each event day, runners, spectators, volunteers, and sponsors will be partying in the event field while listening to music, watching runners in The Coliseum, eating, and participating in various games and contests.  

In celebration of our first events coming up, The Gladiator is giving away a $1,000 prize + $1,000 to your favorite 501c3 charitable organization in 2013! Anyone can enter to win by placing a video on the Facebook page or on YouTube, Vimeo, TubeMogul, etc. If videos are loaded to locations other than our Facebook page (which we highly recommend), please just add a link to the video on the Facebook page. All videos must have The Gladiator and our website address listed under video description. Videos should show you doing some sort of obstacle, preferably with a bit of mud. Video length must be between 3 and 5 minutes. The video producer whose video has the most likes or comments across sites will win the grand prize!
