“Deception” Gospel Stage Play - Sunday, November 18th 2012, 6pm @ The 14th Street Playhouse

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 22, 2012 - “I AM TOO YOUNG TO DIE LIKE THIS”….Michelle Jones.  This gospel stage play focuses on the Jones’ family and the drama they face as a result of ‘young love gone bad.’  Michelle is the teenage daughter of Melvin and Yvonne Jones, and she learns first-hand about the rollercoaster ride adults experience when it comes to love and matters of the heart:  the good, the bad and the ugly.  

Michelle’s love interest, David, is the ‘bone of contention’ between Michelle and her mother.  Because her father has grown fond of David, the mother finds herself constantly defending her belief that “something is just not right with that boy.”

This stage play, full of twists and turns, will have you on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next.  So, what becomes of this young couple?  What happens to Michelle’s parents?  Do they survive the turbulence David has brought to their family as his past catches up with him.

It will make you laugh, cry, scream and peek your curiosity. Although the play addresses how “lies”, “promiscuous behavior” and “deception” can be deadly, it gives the audience a sense of hope and restores faithfulness.

“Deception” is a need to see for the entire family.  The cast of actors; Donald Gray, Kenneth Griffin, Lisa Earley, Siquoyia Crump, Sarah Dillard, Yvette Head, Yvette Simpson and music directors, Sheryl Jones-Dillard and Pastor Marvin Powell, all reside in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.
