Construction Resources Donates over $7,500 to Homes for our Troops

Nov. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- ATLANTA – Construction Resources, Inc, is proud to announce that they raised $7,793 in donations for the Homes for Our Troops charity organization during the Counters for a Cause Clearance Sales event on October 12th and 13th.The fall sales event was the Atlanta-based fabricator’s largest and most profitable event Clearance Sale ever, and will hopefully mark the largest donation from the combined forces of the Artisan Group in its fundraising effort.

The sale, which featured items anywhere from 15 to 70 percent off, was part of the Artisan Group’s national “yard sale” to aid wounded veterans. During the month of October, Artisan Group fabricators across the country are hosting “Counters for a Cause” events, which will donate funds and materials for the construction and modification of homes that will allow mobility-impaired veterans to live in comfort and convenience within their own home. Construction Resources more than double the amount raised from last year, and hopes that other Artisan Group members have been as successful so that together they can overtake the $32,000 total raised for the charity last year.

The “yard sale” event also gives Construction Resources the space to continue their expansion efforts, with both the kitchen and bath design studio and indoor slab gallery at 224 Rio Circle in Decatur slated for completion in December of 2012.
