Munger's new design environment includes a CAD system along with a tool that enables interpretation and what-if analysis on customer supplied PDFs. Munger employees are now able to present a high level depiction of design/build renderings for visualization purposes as either a PDF or E-size plotter drawing. This enables customers to participate in the design phase. It also streamlines the estimating process when modifications or alternative ideas need to be compared.
"This investment differentiates Munger from builders who don't have this resource", said David DeMaio, Munger President. "An automated process makes us attractive to customers who want to participate in the design phase and who want to quickly understand the ramifications of design and material changes."
