Nuqul Automotive and Volkswagen Jordan sponsor Amman International Marathon 2012

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 22, 2012 - As part of its direction and interest to support sports related activities, Nuqul Automotive and Volkswagen Jordan sponsored Amman International Marathon which was held on Friday October 19th, 2012. The marathon, and for the 3rd consecutive year, has been organized to reflect an annual international sporting tradition in the cities of the Middle East and the world.

To maintain safety during the marathon, Volkswagen provided runners with a lead car that was available all throughout the competition to ensure security for all participants while assisting them in needed requirements.

On this occasion, Mr. Sulieman Al Zaben, Volkswagen Jordan Brand Manager, said: “Our sponsorship of this year’s marathon is driven by Nuqul Automotive’s commitment towards supporting events in the field of sports reaching athletes across different levels. We strongly believe in the importance of sports and its role contributing to a developed nation from different angles;  in addition to giving the opportunity for kids and the  society in general to participate making it a successful and memorable event.

It’s worth mentioning that Amman International Marathon includes three main categories; in addition to the kids run. It offers a wide range of recreational activities for all participants and the award ceremony will be held in the Roman amphitheater on the same day.
