Commercial Energy Audits Can Recover Arizona's Fair Share of $1.0 Trillion

A commercial energy audit could save Arizona businesses their fair share of $1.0 trillion, according to research conducted by Deutsche Bank and the Rockefeller Foundation.

Oct. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- According to research conducted by Deutsche Bank and the Rockefeller Foundation, pursuing the energy efficiency improvements that a commercial energy audit can focus could reduce energy cost in America's commercial buildings by up to $1.0 trillion over the next decade.

In applying this research to Arizona's commercial buildings, energy audit specialists at Big Green Zero (http://www.BigGreenZero.com) report that recent commercial energy audits in 80 Arizona buildings have focused opportunities to reduce energy bills by 20% to 40%. On that basis, it is likely that Arizona businesses and commercial building owners can capture more than their fair share of that $1.0 trillion in energy cost savings.

Looking at potential return on investment, the Deutsche Bank report projects that an investment of approximately $279.0 billion will be required to fund this level of energy cost savings. Doing the return on investment math . . . $279.0 billion invested to save $1.0 trillion produces very attractive 3.6 year ROI.

Arizona's commercial energy audit specialists developed the Big Green Zero® commercial energy audit to help Arizona businesses capture their fair share of $1.0 trillion.
