She is widely acclaimed for her creations that transcend geographical and national boundaries to reach international women. Her achievements and her celebrated status have therefore helped generate strong interest and attention to the creativity and huge potential of Arab women, particularly in the world of fashion. It is indeed a great pleasure and a privilege for DBWC to host the first-ever presentation of Salamoun’s latest collections in the Arab world. DBWC is also grateful to Balsam Al Khalil for helping us realize this project, which adds a new dimension to our continuing efforts to promote women empowerment in the UAE and across the region.”
Randa Salamoun said: “The Dubai Business Women Council has taken so many significant steps that have helped boost the participation of women in the social and economic development of the Arab world. Like DBWC, I am equally passionate about encouraging Arab women to become successful leaders and professionals in our society. It is therefore an honour for me to be part of this project, which I consider a tribute to the accomplishments of Arab women across different fields of expertise. Moreover, this will also be a very special event for me being the first-ever presentation of my latest creations in the Arab world.”
Founded in 2002, DBWC motivates women to be productive members of the society, while encouraging role models to rise up from the ranks and inspire other women around the world, especially in the Arab region, to discover their true potential.
