Oct. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- StormGate have released a new blog post highlighting the importance of focus on a minimum viable product for any new start-up. In The Start-Up Priority Pyramid StormGate's director describes the early careers of lots of entrepreneurs: "It’s easy to get caught up in the “business machine” around your start up, I mean it’s not a real company if it doesn't have business cards, a posh website, a full CRM and 50 social network accounts is it?"

Going on to highlight the realities of modern day lean start-ups, the blog post shows a graphical representation of "how you think it is when you get started" and "how it really is" - poking fun at the hazy ideas of fresh entrepreneurs, often caught in the pitfalls of common business misconceptions.

Ending with "Cancel that big print order of business cards, stop posting Facebook page updates to your 7 fans and get busy making a solid first product", this blog post is a comical reminder of how starting a business can be.

This most recent blog post is part of a series of blog posts around the start-up, web development and app prototyping industries, other popular posts such as Stand up if you have an app idea and Looking for a web developer follow along the same lines, detailing the starts of modern day software companies which are mostly web-based and follow the lean start-up methodology.
