PRLog - Oct. 19, 2012 - Two apps were developed to log the iphone's sensor data, Inertial Logger and Location Logger can respectively log inertial (accelerometer and gyroscope) and location data.
you can find them on the iTunes appstore:
Inertial Logger: https://itunes.apple.com/
Location Logger: https://itunes.apple.com/
Inertial Logger is an application that lets you record Accelerometer and Gyroscope data. You can configure what to record and the sampling frequency for the data acquisition. Additionally, Inertial Logger lets you annotate data.
Inertial Logger offers also a real-time view of Accelerometer and Gyroscope data, and the opportunity to export recordings in .csv files either by email or using iTunes.
Location Logger is an application that lets you record Location data using either GPS or cellular and wifi networks. Location Logger lets you configure accuracy and distance filters of the location service. Stored recordings from Location Logger can also be exported as .csv files either by email or using iTunes.
Inertial Logger and Location Logger can be used to store data for further processing, enabling all sort of applications which can rely on the iphone's sensors.
