A resident of South Huntington, Dr. Efferen is board-certified in hospice and palliative medicine, critical care medicine, pulmonary medicine and internal medicine. She has been listed in the Best Doctors in America database, Becker’s Hospital Review List of 56 Women Hospital and Healthcare Leaders to Know, Consumers Research Council of America’s Guide to America’s Top Physicians and Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors: New York Metro Area (for seven years).
She has received a host of awards/honors, including a spot in the 2010 class of Long Island Business News’ Long Island’s Top 50 Business Women.
