Charisse started with IOR over a decade ago as an intercultural trainer and in 2008, accepted a full-time position as Manager of Intercultural Training. In her new role as Director of Intercultural Training, Charisse is responsible for managing IOR’s global cultural trainer network, maintaining and updating IOR’s proprietary training curriculum, continuously improving program quality and driving the growth of the business. Charisse has lived in the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Morocco and Ethiopia and has worked in various industries including manufacturing, education and non-profit sectors.

Charisse holds a BA degree in Sociology / Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Master's in Adult Education from National Louis University, Chicago, and she has studied French, Hebrew, Moroccan Arabic, and Japanese. Charisse is also trained in several intercultural assessment instruments and is an ASTD-certified Workplace Learning and Performance Coach.
