ORONO, Ontario – Brimacombe will host their annual open house celebration, “First Frost at the Brim” on October 27 and 28, offering the community a chance the see the new quad chairlift before the 2012/2013 season kicks off.
Brimacombe’s annual open house is a family-oriented event with blowout sales, fun games and great prizes – all keeping with the theme of winter safety. It also provides previous members and the local community the opportunity to register for memberships, sign-up for Snow School lessons and inquire about employment opportunities.
“First Frost at the Brim is a fun event for us,” says Mark Rutherford, General Manager of
Brimacombe. “It gives the local community a chance to share our excitement for winter sports before the season commences, and gives us the opportunity to educate and inform the public about what we have to offer.”
In addition to celebrating the return of Jack Frost, Brimacombe will revel in the progress of their new quad chairlift, which is now nearing completion. The new chairlift will be a fixed-grip, four-person chairlift with a unique automatic Loading Conveyor – making Brimacombe’s new chairlift one-of-a-kind within the Greater Toronto Area. This new chair is Brimacombe’s tenth lift and fourth chairlift.
