On November 10 and 11, Drew Brophy will lead a workshop on how to customize anything with paint pens, and how to use these techniques to sell your artwork.
Brophy will share his tried and true techniques using water-based Uni Posca paint pens. He will discuss preparation, composition, color blending, higlights and sealing. He will also discuss how you can have a viable career by painting anything.
Drew Brophy created a professional art career for himself when started painting surfboards in the 1990’s. Now, Drew is hired to paint just about anything using his paint pen techniques, and has taught many artists how to do the same.
This is a rare opportunity for artists to spend time with Drew on a personal level for two days! Drew will welcome questions during the workshop about the business of art and will freely share what has worked for him as a professional artist for over 25 years.
The workshop includes materials to paint on, but students are encouraged to bring their own surfboards, skateboards, shoes, any item they wish to paint!
