Over 2,000 dealerships, selected directly by Costco, participate in the Costco Auto program, which gives members a very unique, specialized car buying experience. Members are able to purchase a new car at a set price and can take advantage of large savings exclusive to members. This program takes the negotiation and haggling out of car buying, making for a very streamlined experience.

The way the Costco Auto program works is quite simple. First, the buyer must be a Costco member, which requires them to sign up and pay a yearly membership fee. Then they head to the Costco Auto website, where they can enter in their information and state that they are interested in buying a new Chevrolet or a certified pre-owned Chevy.

Costco members will then be referred to Sunrise Chevrolet and given a choice of what vehicles they would like to test drive at the dealership. They will then go to Sunrise Chevrolet at 414 East North Avenue in Glendale Heights, IL where they can test drive the chosen models. As Costco members, they will be entitled to special pre-negotiated prices that have been set aside exclusively for them and are not available to non-Costco members. There’s no negotiation or hassle involved when the customer has made up their mind.

Sunrise Chevrolet is part of the Garber Automotive Group, made up of dealerships across the Midwest. The roots of the Garber Group date back to 1907 when Guy S. Garber, a Lansing, Michigan native, began a relationship with General Motors and started selling their vehicles. While the horse and buggy was still the predominant mode of transportation, Guy Garber was firmly committed to the automobile as the vehicle of the future.

Sunrise Chevrolet and the Garber Automotive Group are still in the hands of the Garber family who continue to offer the latest, cutting edge vehicles and quality service.
