Clifford’s involvement with the Ellie Fund began more than two years ago, when he heard about the organization after a friend of his was diagnosed with Stage Two Breast Cancer, and mentioned the Ellie Fund as a way to help support those in the area who are suffering from breast cancer. Since that time, he has competed in two triathlons, and with his “Real Men Wear Pink” team, has raised more than $25,000.
In addition, earlier this year Clifford’s law firm Epstein, Lipsey & Clifford spearheaded fundraising efforts for “Twive & Receive,” a national one-day Twitter-based fundraising contest hosted by the Razoo Foundation. Together with dedicated local volunteers, companies, and “Twitterati,”
“We are thrilled to have him join the team,” said Ellie Fund Executive Director Julie Nations. “His dedication to our mission, can-do attitude and enthusiastic support of our efforts to support even more families than ever before makes him a joy to work with.”
“I am honored to further my involvement with the Ellie Fund in this way,” said Clifford. “Their mission of fighting breast cancer and providing for the immediate needs of families in our area is something I am very proud of, and I look forward to doing more to advance this noble cause.”
