Kendrick Lamar Debut Album “good kid, m.A.A.d City” On Sale Now

Oct. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar will release his debut studio album titled good kid, m.A.A.d City on October 22, 2012.  He delivers this project under Dr. Dre imprint Aftermath in conjunction with Interscope and Top Dawg Entertainment.  He explains the title as being “a [Compton] kid trying his best to escape [inner-city] influences, but has always been pulled back in because of circumstances that be.”

Of course Dr. Dre is the executive producer over this album.  He makes certain the sound for this project is heard the way he intends it.  Other producers who bless the tracks include The Neptunes, Just Blaze, Pete Rock, Hit-Boy, T-Minus, Scoop DeVille, and plenty more.  Instead of finding new producers Kendrick used producers whom he had previously worked with on other music.  The production alone is enough reason to buy this album.

Kendrick Lamar lyrical style is compared to being the Nas of his time.  In recent months, Kendrick has been on a promotional tour getting the word out about his album and increasing his fanbase.  As he continues to grow more and more people are becoming diehard fans.  He even got thumbs up from the award-winning Lady Gaga who has publicly expressed her like for his music.
