UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR ABUSED ANIMALS
Food, Fun and Frivolity
Camden County, NJ—Aunt Edna gave it to you or it has been hidden in your closet. Who doesn’t own an ugly Christmas sweater, vest or holiday tie? This is your chance to wear it and raise money for abused animals on Sunday, November 11 at the Links Golf Club, 100 Majestic Way, Marlton, NJ from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm for NJ Aid for Animals at their Ugly Christmas Sweater Brunch.
An all-volunteer humane charity, NJ Aid for Animals is an animal rescue that brings free life-saving vaccines to Camden City to protect dogs against the highly contagious parvo virus and the upper respiratory and calici virus for cats. With its mission to prevent animal abuse and promote animals’ well-being, NJ Aid for Animals knocks on doors in Camden City and transports town residents’ animals for spay-neuter procedures. They have been enriching animals’ lives since 2005.
This edgy not so typical brunch will feature guest and fellow animal lover, Carol Erickson, CBS3 meteorologist, acting as judge for the ugliest, brightest, worst home-made and worst matching couple sweaters. Fabulous prizes will be awarded.
Performing for the guests will be Ted, a Benji look-a-like and rescue dog that NJ Aid for Animals saved. Since being adopted, Ted’s new owner has turned him into quite the little performer delighting audiences all over with his menu of tricks.
Are you sick of hearing the same old holiday songs before its even Christmas? Performing them in a way guaranteed you have not heard, will be Shannon McGill, vocalist and guitarist, Kevin Sullivan from the group, SHE HATES ME. Shannon's voice is throaty, pitch perfect and “like chocolate melting on your tongue.” Visit http://www.njafa.org for a clip.
Order your holiday jewelry from Silpada Designs Sterling Silver with l00% proceeds going to the event and help save more lives. Jewelry guaranteed to be delivered before Christmas.
Make your reservation now. Drag out the sweaters, vests and ties, get in the mood and start your holidays early with a Bloody Mary, a delicious brunch and a beautiful view of the golf course while being entertained with holiday songs and helping animals in need.
