Olea SphereTM is an image processing software package intended for picture archive, post-processing and communication. It helps standardize both viewing and analysis capabilities of functional and dynamic imaging datasets acquired with MRI and CT across vendors. It features innovative image viewing and analysis, processing of perfusion weighted image post-processing, permeability computation, as well as diffusion weighted image/tensor image post-processing, fiber tracking post-processing, and longitudinal analysis of multiple time points.
It is compliant with the DICOM standard and Windows, Macintosh or Linux operating systems. It runs on any standard off-the-shelf workstation or it can be used through a thin deployment with a server. The DWI Module is used to visualize local water diffusion properties from the analysis of diffusion-weighted MRI data. The Fiber Tracking feature utilizes the directional dependency of the diffusion to display different structures within anatomic areas of interest. The perfusion analysis module is used for visualization and analysis of dynamic imaging data, showing properties of changes in contrast over time. Both DSC and DCE MRI perfusion sequences are supported to cover full body analysis.
