The Good Old Days ... I Think Just Got better

Some things WERE truly good, less traffic, smaller classrooms, less smog, ... but not all of it.

Oct. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Growing up in Queens NY in the late 50's & 60's a time some might consider qualifying as good old days, was for us boomers a bit different then what kids have to deal with today.  Getting up early to go to school in the dark, ahh... the morning air seemed cool and crisp, the classes small and some really nice,  memorable teachers. But, come to think of it, there was also a ton of books to carry, awful cafeteria food, brain busting math problems to figure out on work sheets, breathing in eraser rubs from pencils because you made mistakes and had to erase and re-write almost a half a page of a homework assignment,  plus the record you're listening to is skipping because there's a scratch on it.  Let's see how the last sentences would play if we took all the above and time machined it up to today. Books are digital and are living in cyberspace on line, and can easily be brought up on a tablet.  All handhelds contain calculators to zoom to the answer of a brain buster math problem, to erase a section of your word processed assignment you simply highlight the paragraphs and hit delete, while you eat your grilled veggie sandwich on organic grain bread, plus the song playing from your digital music device would never dare skip, theres nothing to scratch - except your head, in wonderment of all these improvements on the good old days.

One favorite of mine, being a card carrying basket case golfer, is the new and improved ways you can watch and analyze a golf swing these days.  Not that sitting with a TV remote control and trying to roll back just enough, then ...ooops going too far... grrr, now I'm too far ahead, damn where the heck is that swing I wanted to watch - isn't some sort of technology,  but now the world of Apps has available for viewing, in the palm of your hand, the best golfers in the game demonstrating in a continuous sequence making beautifully rhythmic swings in a totally smooth transitioning tempo, plus creating seemingly effortless power, and all ending in perfect elegant balance ... even those 'bigger' boys like Craig Stadler, and Jason Gore. The Phone App that best delivers this valuable information and images to imitate is called GOLFLiXPro, and it's available in the iPhone App Store as well as iTunes by searching   golflixprofessionals.
It's an incredibly up close look at how it's done by the PGA & LPGA Pros that do it best. Hey,  these might just be the next good old days.
