Publishers Marij Bertram and Hendrik de Leeuw have over 20 years of publishing experience in The Netherlands. At VBK and then Nieuw Amsterdam Publishers, they were in charge of several business units dealing with fiction and non-fiction titles (at VBK: Atlas-Contact as well as Business Contact) and published many international best-sellers in the Netherlands such as Thomas Friedman, Richard Dawkins, Chris Anderson en Harold Macgee.
