IECRM Launches New Emerging Leaders Program Aimed at Developing New Leaders within the Energy Field

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 17, 2012 - DENVER, Colorado – October 17, 2012 – Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM) (http://www.iecrm.org), a trade association dedicated to supporting, promoting, and educating energy and electrical professionals, launched a new leadership training program for its member companies called IECRM Emerging Leaders on Thursday, October 11th at IECRM headquarters in Denver, Colorado. IECRM Emerging Leaders is an elite program that aims to develop the leadership skills of individuals within IECRM member organizations.

"As one of the key construction industry leaders in the energy industry, we are focused on further elevating the skills and knowledge of this select group of industry all-stars,” said Executive Director, Spenser Villwock, MNM, LEED AP. “In our first year of the IECRM Emerging Leaders program, we have a fantastic group of folks in our community that are on a trajectory for success and greatness in their careers. We are helping them to further ignite their depth of skills.”

IECRM Emerging Leaders will host local professionals and experts in a number of critical subjects, including fiscal management, led by a former Fortune 500 financial professional. There will also be roundtable discussions with state-level leaders at the Colorado State Capitol.

20 hand-selected emerging leaders from nearly 200 companies are embarking on this six-month program. Notable companies include Allcable, LEI Companies, Namaste Solar, Northern Electric, and Siemens.

The program launched with compelling dialog about the future direction of the economy in the state of Colorado, and also on the national front. The emerging leaders  then engaged in discussions and group activities, and ended the day with a fun team-building experience at Unser Racing in Denver, Colorado.
