Oct. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- NORTH BERGEN, NJ – A red carpet event to benefit VH1 Save The Music Foundation is coming to the award-winning Waterside Restaurant and Catering hall on the North Bergen waterfront on October 22nd 2012. Walking the red carpet will be reality TV celebrity, Ramona Rizzo, Star of VH1’s Mob Wives. Rizzo – a single mother of four – commented on why she is supporting this event: “…my children’s education is very important to me…one of my daughter’s has found the love of music and has started singing. I would hate to see that taken away because the music department is one of the first programs to go when a school faces financial trouble.. If lending my celebrity, my time, and my dedication as a fellow parent will help make a difference, I am glad to do so”.

Rich Valdes, a single dad of two and a school board member is producing the event and said: “Supporting programs for kids in public school to receive a well-rounded education including music education is something we should all support; I’m just trying to do my part and give back.”  Valdes further noted: “We are grateful for all of the support shown to us by Waterside Restaurant & Catering our venue sponsor; North Bergen Mayor Nick Sacco, Miss Ramona Rizzo our Celebrity Guest for her commitment to our event; Ciroc Ultra Premium Vodka our exclusive beverage sponsor, our Celebrity DJ ”Miss DJ MJ” from G-Unit/Sirius XM Satellite Radio; Fox TV Reality Star Diana Scherillo from “Take me Out with George Lopez’; Miss Angel Lenise from ‘B.E.T. 106 & Park’, Ice-T & Coco, Bravolebrity & RCA Recording Artist Sonyae Elise, R&B Artist Zieme (Zy-eem), HBO’s Jeff Norris, Vh1 Stars Freddie Robinson & Mama Jones, Celebrity Stylist Trish Ramado, Love Logan, Niko Reign, Sai Browne and of course all of our guests!”.
