The first two letters represent the thrust in pounds. For example 33T model has a thrust of 33 pounds.

Technical details

To use these outboards you will need a deep cycle leisure battery, & these are not expensive, technical or difficult to get hold of. Basic difference between those and a normal battery are that they can be fully discharged without being damaged (but they should be recharged as soon as possible not left flat). You will need a battery charger to do that. These boats can also be equipped with solar power, which Navgathi is experienced in executing.
