Drug Cartels-Escalation of Violence

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 16, 2012 - When it comes to the world of drug cartels and smuggling, relationships are built across the globe for one reason and one reason only…to distribute the drugs.  The Mexican drug cartels know how to build relationships and they do so by connecting with gang members who will help to promote the drug business. Sometimes in exchange the drug cartel will offer gang members guns and other weapons. So, what happens when these gang members are recruited? Thinking of taking a trip to Mexico? You may wish to reconsider before heading south of the border. What was once a safe destination crossing over that line to Mexico is now a dangerous place run by the Mexican drug cartel. According to Sidney Lumpkin innocent people continue to suffer from the hands of the cartel and gang violence. Most of the tourist destinations have turned into nothing more than destinations for violence and killings. Make no mistake-the drug lords will not stop at anything when it comes to smuggling drugs over the border. They will even target people desperate for cash and pay then to smuggle the drugs out of Mexico into the states. Sometimes a single mom will try her hand at smuggling because she feels like she is at her last rope when it comes down to making money to feed her children. Other times government officials are paid handsomely to keep their mouths closed and look the other way. The Mexican government has made it known that they are not going to go the extra mile to try and stop the illegal activity. He reason why these officials look the other way is because some of them are being paid off by the drug cartel. Here’s the bottom line according to Sidney Lumpkin: the Mexican drug cartel isn’t going anywhere and as long as the Mexican government continues to look the other way crime and violence will continue to be on the rise.
