The Bra Recyclers are grateful to have the support and partnership of community-conscious companies and groups around the country who have joined our ‘BRAvolution’ Affinitas, Leading Lady, Soma Intimates, JGS Travel, Bodacious Boutique and Baci Lingerie are the sponsors of our 2012 weekly prize raffles. “This is our best year yet for great prizes that women can win for just recycling a gently used or new bra,” states CEO Elaine Birks-Mitchell. The Bra Recyclers also have the support of individuals, groups and radio stations around the country that are supporting them in pursuit of their goal. The Glendale Women’s Club in Arizona collected 114 bras from group members and 98.9 in Louisville, Kentucky collected 2,942 bras during their Bras for Bluegrass event. Others, such as Belle Mode Intimates in Fairfax, VA, Elegance Underneath in Illinois and Susan G. Komen of Southern Arizona, still have events on-going. Bra Recycling Month lasts the entire month of October and there are still many great prizes that will be raffled off. Anyone who recycles their bra during October will automatically be entered into the weekly prize drawings. Additionally, Leading Lady is offering all women who recycle a bra during Bra Recycling Month the opportunity to save 15% with an online order.
