Steve Topp Named Vice President of Sales at Stratus Networks

Oct. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Peoria, IL – Stratus Networks, a leading national provider of data, voice and Internet services, today announced that Steve Topp has been appointed as the Company’s new Vice President of Sales. Reporting to John Petrakis, the President of Stratus Networks, Topp will oversee the Company’s overall sales and growth initiatives which will include managing channel partners.

Topp brings more than 22 years of sales leadership experience in the telecom sector.  Prior to joining Stratus, he was the Senior Account Executive of Corporate Accounts at Janrain where he played an integral role in the company’s overall strategic planning and growth initiatives. Topp devised strategies and led the sales team for the eCommerce vertical, while closing some of the largest retail clients..  Prior to Janrain, Topp held senior-level Account Executive roles for highly recognized companies including Earthlink Business/New Edge Networks, Inc., Rhythms, Inc., Gandalf, a division of Mitel Corporation, and Data Comm Networking, Inc.

Topp has been honored with several President and sales achievement awards from Janrain, Earthlink, Rhythms, and Gandalf.  He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois University and currently resides in Woodridge Illinois.
