Hales Corners Lutheran School in Hales Corners Wisconsin, named September 2012’s Exemplary School, presented webinars in the 2012-2013 National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA) Best Practices Webinars.

The NLSA Best Practices webinar series is intended to recognize exemplary schools for their use of technology and innovation in the classroom. This new series provides a way for schools to share their best practices with other schools and educators.

Crissy Peterson, a teacher and a webinar presenter stated, “We were honored to share some of the ideas we've implemented at Hales Corners Lutheran that benefit children attending school at one of our campuses.  The webinar process is an effective way to share information with other educators throughout the country, and even possibly beyond.”

According to another teacher and webinar presenter, Karen Herz, “[viewers of the webinar] seemed to value the information presented in the webinar and were hoping to make a difference in the lives of their students.”

Terry Schmidt, LCMS School Ministry Associate Director and head of the NLSA stated, "NLSA Best Practice Webinars give some of our best schools the opportunity to share their innovative practices that have dynamically improved student learning or enhanced ministry opportunities."

Each webinar is recorded and made available for free online. Archives of Hales Corners Lutheran School’s presentations can be found at http://online.cuw.edu/category/webinar/nlsa/.
