For the Automotive Workshop in October 2011, Fuentek provided invaluable assistance in identifying and marketing NASA’s most promising automotive technologies. Of 150 Automotive Workshop attendees, 146 followed up with NASA to find out more about incorporating space program innovations into their products and processes. NASA Glenn is currently establishing partnerships and licensing deals with multiple companies.
Fuentek also played an important role in NASA’s Technology Showcase, which was targeted at regional Ohio businesses. The December 2011 event helped companies learn about the many ways they could engage with NASA in key industry areas, including biomedical, advanced/alternative energy, materials and structures, sensors and electronics, and advanced propulsion.
