Wikipedia Now Features Virtual Staff Finder

Wikipedia, a popular online encyclopedia, writes an article about Virtual Staff Finder. They have featured the services of the company and discusses Chris Ducker and his concept of virtual assistance and outsourcing.

PRLog - Oct. 16, 2012 - Wikipedia, the most popular online encyclopedia today, creates a page about Virtual Staff Finder (VSF). Managed by experts, savvy internet users, volunteer writers, registered and unregistered members, who can contribute a featured subject, edit existing articles, and manage contents, Wikipedia is an open source online encyclopedia known for their wide variety of topics and extensive use of facts in their articles.

The articles published on Wikipedia came from various writers, or "Wikipedians," as how they call themselves. The writers follow guidelines in writing substantial and neutral articles to give the reading public nothing but quality information.

The organization's neutral point of view (NPOV) policy seeks unbiased information to avoid promotional articles just like those published in other online sources. Violation of the NPOV and other rules will result to the deletion of the article.

Wikipedia does not also allow autobiographies and may delete the articles containing insufficient information or those unnecessary details which are not really notable to be published in online encyclopedias. Wikipedia administrators said that the website is "not a free webhosting service where personal articles can be written and displayed on the world's biggest billboard."

Making a Difference

In many instances, organizations and individuals are not featured in Wikipedia if they have not contributed enough in their field or have made a mark about something. In other words, to be a featured subject in Wikipedia means that the entity is already worthy of attention, has made a difference and proven itself in their field.

Wikipedia makes Virtual Staff Finder one of their featured subjects last October 9, 2012, few days after featuring VSF CEO, Chris Ducker.
