The rhyming short story is about first grader, Kat Von Wilde, and her dog Linc. The duo is bullied by Macy Dade and her dog Mack as they trick or treat. The story focuses on getting and giving support, while aiming to inspire a positive self-image. If you have been bullied then remember this well, Don’t hold it inside, find someone and tell.

Sisters and co-creators of the TurkeyDogz brand, Shelley Schultz & Jill English, are passionate about getting the message to young children in a way in which they will relate. The story comes with a discussion worksheet that will help parents and children talk about the issue. There is also a downloadable book for children to illustrate themselves. Co-Author Jill English stated “Art therapy can be priceless when tackling tough subjects. We hope that through art kids will gain empathy for the bullied characters.”
