WIF has played numerous venues throughout the Denver area, and are happy to settle into Quixote's True Blue for an amazing EP release. The band has had such enthusiastic crowds in Denver, it was an obvious choice to offer their new, self-titled EP to their hometown fans first, along with a free tee shirt with every purchase of their new title.
"This EP will offer a brief snapshot and cross-section of our overall body of work," front man Drew Brightbill said. "It will include upbeat indie rock, comical and whimsical tunes, all while showcasing our ability to weave pop-influenced storytelling, and down-tempo mellow ballads."
"In addition to playing songs off the new EP, the CD release show will include our strongest songs and most popular fan favorites. We'll also be playing some of our newer songs as a sneak peek of what to expect in the near future.”
Tickets are $10 at the door or may be pre-ordered online. Every ticketholder gets a free copy of WIF’s new EP. Quixote's is located at 2151 Lawrence Street in Denver. Call (303) 366-6492 for directions or more information. The Constant Tourists will open the show for WIF.
WIF’s music has been described by Marquee Magazine as "...Drew Brightbill is a welcome juxtaposition to the normal brooding singer/songwriter. With tracks that are more poppy than folky, Brightbill delivers four songs…cheerful melodies and light-hearted observations."
