Vice President, left Dallas, along with his wife and two kids to do community service projects in Tanzania, Africa. In honor of their former employee and friend, Herb’s Paint & Body has made a generous donation to pay for a new water well which will literally change the lives of over 2,500 residents in the village of Mafere. Presently, people in this village must walk for miles to receive one bucket of fresh water. This new well will help dramatically improve the current water conditions for these people.
For over 56 years, Herb’s Paint & Body has supported numerous charitable causes and programs throughout the Dallas community. Now the company's efforts have gone global with the new water well in Mafere. They are all a part of a community focused program created by Herb's Paint & Body called Herb's Cares, http://www.herbscares.com/
which includes a new website to showcase their community involvement
http://www.herbscares.com/Community.aspx consisting of Dallas community service like their annual charity golf tournament in Dallas and an initiative to encourage Dallas drivers to pledge not to text and drive.
