Former Miami Dolphins to Aid Diabetes at Charity Event at Il Bacio, Delray Beach

Celebrities Will Gather to Raise Funds for JDRF at “Miltie’s Night on the Ave”

Oct. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Former Miami Dolphin players Daunte Culpepper, Troy Drayton and Shawn Wooden will be among those stepping behind Il Bacio’s bar for a worthwhile cause at “Miltie’s Night on the Ave – Tip To Cure Diabetes,” an exclusive charity event to benefit JDRF on Tuesday, October 23, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 29 SE 2nd Avenue in Delray Beach, FL.

The event is being organized by Marc Poulshock, a local Delray Beach resident, in memory of his father, Dr. Milton J. Poulshock, who passed away early in life due to the complications of Diabetes. Ticket prices are $50 per person and include passed hors d’oeuvres, select cocktails and entertainment. Prior to the event a VIP reception will be held at Il Bacio’s sister restaurant, PRIME, located at 110 E Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, FL.  Beginning at 6:30 p.m. VIP ticket holders will have the chance to meet, greet and pose for photos with all of the event’s celebrity guests and entertainers.

Additional funds will be raised through signature dishes created by PRIME’s Executive Chef. A percentage of proceeds from the sale of Loeb’s Onion Crunch BBQ Short Ribs Sliders and Loeb’s Onion Crunch & Goat Cheese Crusted Prime Filet will go to JDRF through the end of year.  Nick Loeb, founder of the brand Onion Crunch, is a Delray Beach resident, businessman and philanthropist and is lending his support to the event.

Former Miami Dolphin cheerleaders will be on-hand to greet guests and 100% of proceeds go to benefit JDRF.  The night’s entertainment consists of smooth DJ beats and a live dance performance by the Florida Panthers own Redline Lady Panthers.
