London Business School ranked second by FT ranking for Executive MBA programme

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 15, 2012 - London Business School/Columbia Business School have been ranked second by the FT rankings for their Global EMBA Programme. The rankings for these Management training Institutions were based on certain criteria and involved the alumni of the school and other factors such as, career progression, expectations from the EMBA Programme and the percentage salary increase.

The Director for the EMBA Programme, Anne Sanford said: “We’re delighted to see that the EMBA Global programme has moved up one place to be ranked Number two among the very best in the world.  Its success is a tribute to the strength of our partnership with Columbia Business School, the outstanding quality of our cohorts and the amazing faculty teaching on the programme.”

The Management training schools to top the FT rankings were Kellogg – HKUST followed by the London Business School/Columbia Business School in third place TRIUM – HEC Paris/LSE/New York University: Stern.

The highpoints (for LBS/Columbia) observed in this year’s ranking concluded:
An 89% increase in the average salary of alumni, three years post the completion of the programme.

Measure for Salary percentage increase ranked them in 6th place overall.
Expectations from the programme delivered them the 8th position overall for aims achieved.
An enhancement in overall salary (worth 20% of the total ranking) by an approximate amount of $5000 plus obtained them 8th place overall in regards to actual salary
