Project Cuddle and John Stamos Host Gala to honor Chef Bruno Serato at the Anaheim White House

All proceeds from this event will benefit Project Cuddle® and help continue the mission of the organization to save the lives of babies from abandonment or worse – as of today, 702 babies have been saved.

Guest of Honor, Bruno Serato, will be honored as part of the evening's festivities.   Serato will donate food, beverages, and use of his private banquet hall, the West Wing. The donation is part of a 3-year commitment known as the West Wing Giveaway, a program established by Serato, who has pledged to donate similar packages to 180 nonprofit organizations. An Emmy® nominated actor and producer, John Stamos is an advocate for Project Cuddle. Stamos currently serves as the non-profit’s National Spokesperson and Chairman of the Advisory Board, and has been a supporter of the charity for over eight years.  Stamos was most recently been seen in the film Father of Invention opposite Kevin Spacey. On Broadway, Stamos has had tremendous success starring in the Tony® Award-winning musicals Hairspray, Bye Bye Birdie, and Nine. Stamos began his career over 25 years ago on the hit soap General  Hospital and has since starred on such hit television series as Entourage, E.R., and recently in a multi-episode arc on FOX’s hit series, Glee. He is however perhaps best known for staring in the iconic ABC series Full House.  Stamos continues to enjoy a wide variety of roles on film, television and the stage, and is currently in development with Twentieth Century Fox and Neil Meron & Craig Zadan for a feature musical set to the songs of the Beach Boys, whom he’s toured with over the last 25 years.

The Event Chairs this year are Janet Coleman and Katie Ibay, Gary Eisenberger is Master of Ceremonies and Event Hosts are Debbe Magnusen and, at press time, John Stamos.

The evening begins with a silent auction featuring exciting items including gift baskets, weekend getaways, spa packages, dinner and hotel certificates and tons of other gifts for men, women and there is always a large assortment of baby items.  

No tickets will be sold at the door. All ticket sales are final, no refunds and all minors must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

Project Cuddle is a non-profit organization that offers safe and legal alternatives to baby abandonment. We run a confidential toll-free 24-hour hotline for pregnant girls and women who find themselves scared and feel that they have no hope or that anyone can help them through this frightening time in their lives. Many are hiding their pregnancies, are near birth term, have no plans for their babies once born, and need prenatal care. Some will call 1-888-628-3353 and speak with a caring volunteer, while others will email us via our web site. Once we are contacted, we listen and offer ways we can help. Many need guidance to medical care and counseling. Some just need emotional support. We tailor each case to the specific girl or woman as needed. Many choose adoptive families who have been carefully screened, while the rest will get support, guidance and confidence to raise their babies. Our goal is to have each baby safe, and each birthmother proud of the decision she has made.
