Stahl Sheaffer Engineering is donating tickets for the October 27 Penn State vs. Ohio State football game to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program. The firm is also hosting a tailgate on the concourse at the Spikes Stadium, Lubrano Park, where ticket holders and tailgaters can stop by from 12:00 to 5:30 to meet the kids and learn more about the Youth Service Bureau and how they can help make a difference. Free hot chocolate and hot dogs will be available at 2:00.
The Centre County Youth Service Bureau (YSB) is a non-profit organization focused on youth services since 1967. In 2011, the YSB reached more than 7,500 individuals, serving more than 5,300 youth through public education, prevention and after school programming. The organization’

If you have been looking for a way to take positive action in support of youth and the community – please consider donating additional tickets or becoming a Big Brother or Sister. To donate tickets so that more of the 200 kids in the program can see the game, call Greg Huff at 814-867-2536, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. For those who are interested in donating their time to volunteer, Stahl Sheaffer Engineering will give a free PSU/OSU ticket to the first ten people who sign up to be a Big Brother or Sister and attend an orientation session prior to the game. Orientation sessions will be held:
• Monday, Oct. 15 at 6 pm. State College Borough Building, Allen Street.
• Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 4 pm at the State College Borough Building, Allen Street.
