"Maribeth Jalepes and her partner, Jason are generous supporters of Horses4Heroes and other non-profits. They have donated hours of free horse-drawn carriage rides to our events, never asking for or accepting anything in return," said Sydney Knott, executive director of Horses4Heroes. "Last month, they participated in our third annual Hero Appreciation Day and gave free carriage rides to more than 300 National Guard families. This is an opportunity for the entire Las Vegas community to step up and say 'thank you' to two people who don't the meaning of the word 'no'!"
Donations can be received via PayPal on the organization's web site, www.Horses4HeroesUSA.com or sent to Horses4Heroes, Inc., Attn: Operation Starting Over, 4837 No Monte Cristo Way, Las Vegas, NV 89149. The pets and horses survived the fire but all of their personal belongings and household items were lost.
