Cleaning technician, John Kutch has just completed an 18 hour carpet cleaning training class in Philadelphia, PA. “It was a lot to learn, and the exam was not easy,” says John.

We make it sparkle.” The IICRC started in the 1970’s, by Ed York, who designed and sold the then new “Carpet Steam Cleaning” truck-mount system for deep cleaning carpet cleaning. The new carpet cleaning system attracted so many members, Ed started a training school. The IICRC became a trade school for people all over the world looking to learn about the carpet, rug, and fiber cleaning business. As of 2012 the IICRC became known as The Clean Trust.
