Why is Banquette Seating Important?

Oct. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- At Spiro Designs, we have over 20 years of experience in supplying banquette seating for restaurants, bars, hotels and pubs.  Busy environments such as restaurants and bars need careful space management so that there is always free flowing traffic despite how many people may be in the premises.  At the same time, it is completely understanding that restaurants and bar's want to maximise the amount of people they can fit in - more people = more paying customers.

There are many different forms of banquette seating which can be utilised for space management.  The first type is 'Back Banquette Seating'.  This typical goes across the back and side walls - brilliant for waiting area's or small areas where you expect your customers to stay for just 10 to 15 minutes, maybe whilst they want until their table is ready.  There is no space dividers in this seating arrangement, but it leaves a lot of room in the middle of the room, giving a lot of space for waiters or staff to come and take orders while guests wait.  We have fitted back banquette seating in a lot of restaurants who have bar areas which they use for customers waiting.

The next type of seating is booth banquette seating.  This is great for pubs and bars, and restaurants who have booths which are sectioned off areas.  Booth banquette seating offers privacy and a lot of space.  A lot of privacy for the customers and a lot of space for the restaurant, bar or pub.  

Finally, the next type of banquette seating is fixed high back banquette seating.  This is similar to back banquette seating, but this time, this seating can be used for a long row of tables which are for 2 people.  Great for space saving and also great for creating a couples environment.
