Soul Indulgences sponsors second solo painting exhibitions of Sachin Melwani at Hoxton Arches.

portal, announced today it has committed to acting as corporate sponsor to a second art
exhibitions of painter Sachin Melwani at Hoxton Arches between 1st November 2012
to 4th November 2012. This is in line with Soul Indulgences' broader objectives to
celebrate different cultures and perspectives.

Sachin Melwani was born in 1976 in India and currently lives and works in London.
Educated at the prestigious Central Saint Martin's School of Art and Design his work is
visibly influenced by surrealist imagery and post-impressionist colour theory. Opening
on 1st November 2012 at the Arch402 Gallery in Hoxton, Sachin's show features the
artist’s innovative blending of western academia theory with eastern imagery on
painting to produce highly desirable and detailed works.

His first solo exhibition in the UK was at the Forty7gallery (forty7gallery.blogspot.com) in September 2012 called "Brushes of Euphoria". It is clear from comments made by viewers that they could see Sachin's love for painting and his deep involvement in the historical, whilst also wanting to extend painting language into a contemporary dialect.
Hoxton Arches is situated in central East London (Zone 1), on the edge of fashionable Shoreditch and close to the City financial district. The gallery is located on Cremer Street, next-door to the Hoxton Overground Station.
