   VTEL Introduces Affordable Dual 60” IPanel Telepresence System
      
VTEL announced today that it is now shipping the Company’s new IPanel group videoconferencing system, featuring dual 60” Vizio® LCD flat panel displays and a professional quality Mobile Stand for a list price of $10,995.

The VTEL IPanel Dual 6000 is an H.323 standards-based videoconferencing system which also features the ability to run Skype®, or any other PC-based mode of videoconferencing seamlessly.

“Our resellers are reporting overwhelming demand for professional quality group videoconferencing systems which fulfill an end-user’s need to conduct an H.323 videocall or a Skype® videocall effortlessly as the need arises for either mode, said Richard Ford, VTEL’s CEO.  VTEL’s engineers have leveraged our unique camera and display control technology to enable a professional group quality videocall using essentially any mode of video connectivity.”

Because of the underlying Windows 7 architecture of the VTEL Codec/PC all of the Company’s systems are useful in a classroom or conference room even when not in a videocall.  The systems may be used to display websites, stream video, play a DVD, run any enterprise PC software, such as PowerPoint, or for conventional HDTV viewing.  The Company has also announced the immediate availability of a 58” all-in-one IPanel with a list price of $7,995.
