Decked out in lots of pink, the female players will be coached by members of the varsity football team. The Angel Squad, our youngest cheerleaders, will provide plenty of spirit and support for the girls on the field.
Donations will be accepted at the gate with all proceeds going to Team Terri for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Team Terri was created in honor of Terri Lank, a St. Andrew's mother who lost her courageous 10 year battle with breast cancer in February 2011.
During halftime of the game, the St. Andrew’s community will come together to celebrate and honor mothers, sisters, friends and loved ones.
“A strong sense of community is one of our guiding principles, which we incorporate into all aspects of campus life,” said Mark Toth, Head of School. “This event is an excellent way to have some fun during homecoming week and also create awareness for a worthwhile cause.”
