Oct. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- New identity and unique views
A major phase of the extensive and far-reaching renovation works of The Hotel. has been completed. The top floors have now undergone an impressive metamorphosis. A total of 107 rooms, the meeting rooms on the top three floors and the Panorama Lounge have been given a new and surprising identity. This has been the work of the architects’ practice ‘GCA Arquitectes Associats’ from Barcelona, which opted for an elegant, stylish and spacious design. This is ideal for the modern and cosmopolitan guests and fits in perfectly with the fashionable Boulevard de Waterloo. The innovative style and the unique views over upper Brussels together form the main theme throughout the entire hotel.

Elegant and inspiring rooms and Panorama Lounge
The 107 rooms which have all been given this new identity are the Luxury Panorama rooms, and the Panorama and Splendour suites. They all offer breath-taking views over Brussels, which are even visible from the open bathroom in the Luxury Panorama rooms. Maximum use has been made of the space within the rooms, and the traditional desk and chair have been replaced with leather seating and a rotating table placed near the window. The interior is inspiring, elegant, stylish and innovative. Everything points to a unique hotel experience, with full attention to detail, such as refined Egyptian cotton bed linen, lifestyle books, free drinks from the private bar, and luxury personal care products by C.O. Bigelow.
The Panorama Lounge on the 24th floor has been completely renovated and extended. Whilst enjoying the views, guests staying in the Luxury Panorama rooms and suites can take their breakfast here in the morning and a drink and a snack throughout the day. The decorative bookcases hold a beautiful selection of lifestyle books, which directly links in with the hotel’s unique location on the fashionable Boulevard de Waterloo where virtually all the world-famous luxury lifestyle and fashion brands have a presence.

State-of-the-art technology plays a main part
Modern and ‘tech-savvy’ businessmen and women will find everything to their liking at The Hotel. as far as the latest technology is concerned. Guests can check in and out by smartphone and gain access to their rooms, without stopping at reception and without having to use the traditional key card. In the room, the Media hub™ can be used to connect one’s smartphone, iPod, tablet or laptop to the 40" HD LED television. Smartphones and tablets can wirelessly stream audio to the TV sound system.
The Hotel.App has been designed in conjunction with the American company ‘Intelity’; it is the source of information for useful and entertainment addresses in Brussels, and for anything connected with The Hotel., from ordering room service, an extra cushion or a wake-up call, to information about the location of a meeting or to book a taxi or private chauffeur.

Zen in The Urban Fitness & Spa
Call into the ‘The Urban Fitness & Spa’ on the 23rd floor if you are in need of relaxation and physical exercise. Besides a gym with ultra-modern cardio & power fitness equipment, the 250 m2 state-of-the-art fitness centre also boasts a spacious sauna, a steam room, 2 relaxation rooms and 3 rooms for massage, manicure and beauty treatments. The views which can be enjoyed even from the sauna make the experience truly unique.

Inspiring meetings at great height
Eight meeting rooms on the top floors (25th, 26th and 27th) have now been given The Hotel. identity. These are also functional, stylish and inspiring due to the spectacular views that can be enjoyed from that height. All the necessary facilities, such as unlimited Wi-Fi, LCD projectors, built-in screens and electrically operated room darkening have been made available. The open foyer, which stretches over the entire length of the building, and rooms which offer a practically 360° view of the skyline, provide an ideal setting for fashionable and stylish events.

Further renovation works
Extensive works have now also commenced on the lower floors, including the reception area, the restaurant, the bar and the lounge. Whilst the works are on-going, The Hotel. will remain fully open for its guests and a temporary restaurant and bar have been made available on the 26th floor.
