I bought these August 2011 as an alternative to the Sennheiser HD-448 that I had bought from Amazon March 2011. The V-Moda look much better, and have good quality, but the bass is quite pronounced. Now I do like bass, but the trebles seem clipped when I compare both units on the same iPad with the same songs. It is quite noticeable whether instrumental or vocals.
