The Royal Melbourne Wine Show To ‘Uncork’ more than 3000 Wines for Public Tasting

For the first time wine lovers will be able to taste some of the 3000 or so Australian wines entered into the Royal Melbourne Wine Show at the inaugural public tasting ‘Uncorked.’
 
Oct. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- For the first time wine lovers will be able to taste some of the 3000 or so Australian wines entered into the Royal Melbourne Wine Show at the inaugural public tasting ‘Uncorked.’

Of special interest on the day will be the 22 trophy winning wines fresh from the judging at the 2012 wine show. Uncorked will provide visitors with the unique possibility of sampling trophy winners from the 2012 Show, including the Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy, the Bill Chambers Trophy for Best Fortified in Show and the new Trevor Mast Trophy for the Best Shiraz in Show.

Over the course of the day there will be a series of masterclasses including a Wine Companion Magazine exclusive session hosted by Wine Companion writer and RMWS committee member, Ben Edwards.

To complete the experience, alongside this immense wine offering, will be a selection of award winning food producers from the 2012 Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards.

Time: 10 am - 4pm

Tickets: $45 for entry – but only $40 for Wine Companion Magazine Subscribers.

Masterclass tickets are an additional $25.00
