3D Internship Program Leads to Permanent Employment

PRLog - Oct. 11, 2012 - Network management firm 3D Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of Travis McEwen to its engineering team as a Systems Administrator.

While still a student at Whatcom Community College, McEwen joined the network engineering team through 3D’s internship program.  The internship program was launched in 2012 as a paid internship in partnership with local colleges in order to provide real world experience to talented students in order to prepare them for entering the community workforce.

Upon graduating with a degree in Network Administration and Security, McEwen successfully transitioned into a full time permanent employee and has achieved his Network+ CompTIA certification.  As a Systems Administrator, McEwen will be a part of providing high level customer service and quality network solutions that are at the core of 3D’s mission.  His responsibilities include remote help desk support, problem resolution and network troubleshooting, in addition to system maintenance and implementing other IT business solutions.
