Wine Scouts Travel Club Offers Custom Winery Tours

Oct. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Wine Scouts Travel Club is a dynamic new enterprise based on the concept that great wine comes from all areas of the country.  

Focusing on unique boutique wineries, Wine Scouts brings together wine enthusiasts from across the country to enjoy wine, food, and activities found in wonderful wine producing regions.

Each wine producing region is a unique destination with much more to offer than just fantastic wines.  History, nature, culture, shopping, golf or relaxation is a part of each vacation package.

The regions currently being explored by Wine Scouts Travel Club are Southern Oregon, the Willamette Valley of Northern Oregon, Walla Walla, WA, the Grand Valley of Western Colorado, and Mendocino and Amador Counties in CA.

Founded by Kathleen Byrne, in Ashland, OR, Wine Scouts Travel Club is a weekend getaway club designed specifically for adventurous individuals and couples who want to explore up-and-coming wine appellations before they are discovered by the masses.
 
Wine tours will typically run from Thursday to Saturday.  No more than two wineries per day will be visited; private tastings and a tour/talk with either the owner or winemaker are part of the excursion.  Education as to terroir, micro climates, wine-making styles, and influences will be discusses.  Wine lovers will find the educating as fun as the pours.

Prices for these exclusive custom winery tours will be inclusive of hotel, limo service, tasting room fees, and several group dinners.
