Sky Blue Builders Awardee of NIST IDIQ Contract

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 11, 2012 - Denver, CO – October 4, 2012 – Sky Blue Builders announces today their award of the NIST Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Multiple Award Task Order for construction at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) at their Boulder and Wellington sites.

This IDIQ contract has a one (1) year base period with four (1) year option periods with a Maximum Order Limit (MOL) of $50 Million over the life of the contract.  
Sky Blue Builders was one of four Small Business firms awarded the NIST Construction IDIQ.  Task/delivery orders under this consist of myriad of services ranging from construction/renovation of scientific research laboratory facilities and administrative facilities to solar/energy conservation systems to utilities and water/sewer systems. Sky Blue Builders experience with multi-craft construction projects and general contractor capabilities enabled them to be one of the awardees of the 5 year IDIQ Construction Contract.
