Logan Business Concepts Meets Tunnel to Towers

The sole purpose of our Foundation is to honor the legacy of love given to us by Stephen Siller, FDNY, who laid down his life on 9/11; we do this by following Stephen’s footsteps of selflessness and love by “doing good” in his memory. The Foundation has established “In the Line of Duty” programs for Firefighters, First Responders, and Military and “Legacy of Love” programs to make a lasting and positive difference in the lives of children who have lost one or both parents. The Tunnel To Towers Run, a living, breathing Memorial Tribute to the memory of the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, FDNY, all the 343 firefighters, and all first responders who sacrificed their lives that fateful day, and all those who perished on 9/11. The Foundation has established National Tunnel To Towers Runs across the country, so that We Will Never Forget those who make a difference in our everyday lives.

Logan Business Concepts Inc. attended the Tunnel to Towers run on Sunday September 30th, 2012. This was a five 5k walk in honor of our nations bravest. Logan Business Concepts Inc. made donations to honor the love and dedication given to us by Stephen Siller; a brave fire fighter who fought for his country on September 11th, while off duty. By making these donations,  funds are raised to support our  firefighters, in particular. We support the great work of the NYC Firefighter Burn Center Foundation, and burn centers throughout America.

LBC’s administrator, Dale has attended this event for three years now and had nothing but great things to say,

“It was an honor to run/walk beside the men who have risked, and continue to risk their lives every day for our country. It gets better every year!”

LBC’s employees ran with a wide range of people, starting from small children displaying our nation’s colors, to our very own New York City fire fighters; wearing full gear, mask and all, as they followed the very same footsteps of Stephen Siller.

LBC employees witnessed one of our soldiers, who had lost both of his legs, and left arm while overseas, walk with prosthetics through the Battery Park tunnel.

““Everyone stopped in the tunnel, and began to chant, “USA,” as this brave soldier fought to the finish line. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen,” said Dale.

Another one of LBC Inc’s employees, George, also attended the event.

“It was a great opportunity to give back to the community, especially since our service members from the FDNY and the NYPD are always putting their lives on the line for our community. I had a great time alongside many of our other coworkers from LBC,  I really look forward to our next event”.

Victor, one of Logan Business Concepts Inc. leaders also joined the rest of the team in the 2012 Tunnel to Towers charity event.

 “I was happy to be a part of such a great cause.  I have never participated in a charity event like todays.  The excitement that I felt after running through Battery Park tunnel was positively overwhelming! I am really looking forward to participating in next year’s run.”
LBC plans on making this event a tradition, and will continue to support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation run, and many more.
