“This will be the fourth year we’ve worked with Santa Donnie,” explains Thea DuBose, photographer and owner of Naturally Posh Photography. “He’s very popular among our clients because he’s such a beautiful Santa – what many of them may not realize is that so much of his beauty comes from within. This is such a special thing that he does for these families – he’s not merely playing a role. For many of the families in Harlan, Kentucky, he is Santa Claus.”
For the past ten years, Santa Donnie has partnered with Pastor William Baker of the Blood Bought Church in Harlan, Ky to support the Harlan Kentucky Christmas Project – an endeavor devoted to providing non-perishable food, clothing and toys to town residents in time for Christmas. This year, DuBose and Naturally Posh Photography join the effort by donating a portion of each Santa portrait sitting fee to the Harlan Kentucky Christmas Project. The studio – located at 1065 Thompson Bridge Road in Gainesville, Ga. – will play host to two weekends of Portraits with Santa Donnie on November 10-11 and November 17-18. Hall County families are encouraged to take part in the sessions where they will not only be given beautiful photo keepsakes, but will also receive the joy of knowing that they are helping a very worthy cause. For those who wish to give a little more, donations of items – including non-perishable food, new clothing and new toys – will also be accepted at the Naturally Posh Photography studio.
